Jeff Burton, Executive Director of Berkeley’s startup accelerator Skydeck, will talked about his program that offers space, mentoring and resources from the Berkeley ecosystem to UCB and UCSF affiliates. It was interesting to hear that not only biotech companies are supported in Berkeley's Skdeck program.
The second guest speaker was Dennis Boyle, is a founder and partner of IDEO, a state-of-the-art design firm with an innovative approach design, whether a device, diagnostic, mobile/digital app. Dennis will describe IDEO’s methodology to incorporate needs and behaviors into product or service design. Dennis speaks all over the world, has a focus on health and wellness and teaches at Stanford.
